€3.355,00 – €4.699,00
When design, functionality and comfortability align, it can be considered a work of art. A daybed with a sculptural and, at the same time, functional shape. Dimensions: 820x370x1960 cm. Design: Mads Emil Garde.
Made in Denmark.
In usual circumstances art pursues form, while design seeks functionality. Mads Emil Garde was able to achieve both, by designing a daybed for Motarasu that can be considered a true work of art.
The number of cushions and their arrangement supports the customization for the Jundo daybed in accordance with the purpose of use.

The cushions and cushion coverings are of extremely high quality. Selected Kvadrat fabrics and leather, in two different colours, produced by Sørensen to bring depth of design and comfort together. Both are prestigious Danish brands. Nothing is left to chance, starting with the obsessive attention to detail and sophisticated fabrication techniques. The corners of the cushions are uniquely proof of this as they are handcrafted, bevelled to obtain the perfect balance with the curved lines of the sculptural shape of the wooden togas.

Jundo in Japanese means purity. Exactly what designer Mads Emil Garde wished and succeeded to achieve with this poetic design.
The demonstration of what can be done with a single, simple, and yet elegant form.
The various wooden togas are assembled in such a way as to create a perfectly symmetrical structure, which serves as both the base and the foot of the daybed. Providing comfort for extensive periods of time.

Minimalism and functionality. Exactly the ultimate essence of Nordic design.
